Firsts: I love posts like this! It reminds me that every stage with your child is wonderful. What stages we’re going to like most is a big topic between Cody and I and I love being reminded that even after you pass the stages that you think are going to be your favorite, another one will happen and blow it out of the water. It just makes me excited for our future with our family.

Utilizing a Montessori Inspired Room for a Toddler: Even though I’m not a parent, my husband and I plan to have kids in the next few years. This post is some really great and real inspiration for a nursery for a toddler. With pinterest, obviously there is a ton of inspiration out there for nurseries and toddler rooms but many of them are just gorgeous and not functional. This room gives a new perspective and is gorgeous and functional all at the same time! I will definitely remember this when the time comes!

Parties-Just Go: Okay, maybe I’m just loving Callie’s friendship series she’s got going on but I really like this post. She talks about how you should always try to go to parties you were invited to because if you don’t and everyone else doesn’t, the person may have no one at their party and it will make them sad. Personally, I’m a notorious flaker, but maybe I won’t be now because I will definitely remember this post.

Change: This is a post about a broken engagement and embracing change in your life. Although I’ve never had a broken engagement, life has certainly thrown me some curveballs. I really like how Jade talks about how she did what was right for her, even though it shocked everyone else. I definitely need that reminder because sometimes, I tend to go with what everyone else wants me to do, rather than what I think is right.

Life Changes and Friends: This is a blog post I honestly think should be read by everyone. When you go through life changes, you sometimes lose friends and that hurts. I personally just got married and lost one of my closest friends. My best friend lost a lot of her friends when she had her daughter. I think it’s sad, but this blog post is very comforting and I’m so glad I found it.

Days with Abiella Pt. 2: This is another post that brought tears to my eyes. It’s from June, so it’s a little older than the others, but so worth it to read. This couple has adopted a little girl with special needs from Ghana and in this post, they talk about the day they went to court to get custody of her. I am so excited to see this girl’s posts on the day they bring their little girl home!

Hey ya’ll! I’m Paige and I blog over at Eloping Stethoscope which used to be “The Eloping Stethoscope” but, like facebook, I dropped the “the.” Anyway, I’m a newlywed living in the South going to nursing school. My husband is in the army and going to business school, so I guess you could say we have a lot on our plates. On my blog, you’ll find stories about married life, nursing school, DIY projects that I do, new recipes we try and so much more. I absolutely love talking to new people, so come on, stop by, and say hi!

This week, Page will be taking over Awesome Baby Blogs and sharing some of her favorite posts!  Make sure you subscribe to our RSS feed so you don’t miss a post!

Flashback: Keeping It Real: This is a blog post from one of my favorite Mommy Bloggers. As a newlywed that hasn’t had children yet, I love to read Mommy blogs. I love this blogger because she always tells the (sometimes ugly) truth about having a baby. In this post, she posts pictures of herself right after having her daughter and talks about how the aftermath of having her baby was not what she expected.
